Palacio de Caranceja

 

The image update project for Palacio de Caranceja was born with the aim of reflecting the elegance, history, and exclusivity of this unique enclave located in Cantabria. A space with soul, combining the charm of classical architecture with the warmth of a natural setting, it is today projected as a benchmark in both the boutique hotel sector and wedding and celebration planning.

 

From our studio, we approached the rebranding work with a strategic and respectful approach to the existing identity. The intention was not to break with its past, but rather to evolve its image to accompany the growth and diversification of its services, providing coherence, modernity, and a more defined visual language.

 

We began by updating the main logo, working on alternative versions that could be adapted to different contexts and audiences.
On the one hand, we developed a sober and elegant identity to reinforce the palace’s character as a boutique hotel, aimed at an audience seeking tranquility, exclusivity, and attentive service. On the other hand, we created a more romantic and intimate version, designed for weddings and events, maintaining the essence of the brand but with a more emotional and evocative aesthetic. This visual duality allows the Palacio de Caranceja to communicate coherently across its various spaces without losing its unity or personality.

 

The image update included defining a color palette inspired by the natural tones of the Cantabrian environment and the noble materials found in the building itself: stone, wood, and vegetation. Elegant and timeless colors that provide a balance between sobriety and warmth.

 

A typographic selection was also developed that combines classicism with modernity, conveying seriousness, history, and closeness. These decisions laid the foundation for a coherent visual guide, applicable to all communication media.

 

The project included the creation of corporate stationery, signage, textiles, social media graphics, and web design guidelines. Each piece was conceived as part of a whole, with attention to detail and maintaining a common aesthetic that reinforces the brand identity.

 

Being able to control every phase of the process—from design to print production—allowed us to guarantee the quality of the finishes and visual consistency across all materials, achieving a strong and recognizable identity.

 

The result is a renewed, elegant, and contemporary image that respects the history of the Palacio de Caranceja while projecting its future. A brand capable of communicating both the exclusivity of its hotel offerings and the charm and warmth of the events it hosts. In short, an identity that reinforces the palace’s personality, conveying confidence, distinction, and consistency in every detail.
