LA VEREDA. 2025 Workshops
We are back to celebrate a new cycle. From our new location, we have prepared a cycle of workshops taking the same starting point: the walk.
From the contemplation or the collection of natural materials and with the possibility of sharing a conscious path, we will give way to the creation of images and artistic pieces in El Calotipo.
‘Feeling the pulse of the seasons, the transit of species and spaces, discovering the intimacy that can unite us with the creatures of nature, whether they are animals or plants.’
Where will the workshops be held?
Our house-workshop is the starting point of the path that runs along the Huecha River as it passes through Magallón, a town of 1,200 inhabitants, located 58 km from Zaragoza, and which can be reached by motorway in 40 minutes.
Magallón belongs to the Campo de Borja region, located in the northwest of the province of Zaragoza. It is a transition zone between the mountains of the Iberian System and the Ebro Valley. Part of its territory is occupied by the Moncayo Natural Park.
If anyone wants to stay in the town, there is the possibility of doing so in the charming Hostal Loteta (www.hostal-lotetaexperience.com), 3 minutes walk from our studio. Or in other accommodations in the area.
What do the workshops include?
All the materials for the workshops are included in the price. However, you can bring materials that you feel comfortable working with (brushes, tools, papers, etc.).
Lunch on Saturday is also included, which we will have at our workshop-house. There will also be coffee, soft drinks, water and snacks at all times, so you can take short breaks and enjoy the workshop calmly and quietly.

Taught by: Zoraida Sobrin (@malaherba.estudio): Designer and researcher specializing in natural dyeing and its various techniques. I have been studying, writing, and recording dyes in my blog for years, and I cultivate my own dye garden.
This craft fascinates me for its connection with nature, its slow processes, and its unexpected results. I conduct all my research in my rural workshop in a village in Galicia, where I draw inspiration and have access to native natural elements.
Those who know me know that I’m passionate about design, handmade projects, taking advantage of my free time to read, and being curious about other disciplines that complement my life and help me grow. I’m interested in everything related to the environment, biomaterials, and design.
A workshop to connect with nature, spark your creativity, and take home unique pieces dyed by you.
